The Lucas curette Fig. 86 is a surgical spoon curette for alveolar curettage after tooth extraction. The smooth-edged spoon in size medium is suited to medium alveoli in the premolar region and detaches granulation tissue and cyst remnants from the bone in a controlled manner.
