The extraction forceps grip the tooth below the crown at the root. The anatomically shaped beaks conform to the root cross-section so that the force is applied where the tooth can withstand it – and not on the fracture-prone crown.
Selection by tooth group
Each shape is tailored to a specific tooth group and jaw. In addition to forceps for permanent dentition, we offer English-pattern forceps for primary dentition in a smaller design – they grasp primary teeth without endangering the underlying tooth germ.
Stainless steel, knurled handles, autoclavable at 134 °C.
