The Adams pliers are orthodontic wire bending pliers with short, square-edged jaws. They are used to bend and adjust clasps and wire elements, in particular to fabricate Adams clasps. The precise edges allow defined bends without the wire slipping.
Applications: Orthodontics and dental laboratory, fabrication and reactivation of clasps on removable appliances.
