The After Five Gracey curette 7/8 has a terminal shank extended by 3 mm and a more slender working end. It is designed for probing depths over 5 mm: you can reach the pocket base at buccal and lingual surfaces of the posterior teeth without unnecessarily stretching the marginal tissue.
