The band removing pliers are used to remove orthodontic bands at the end of treatment or when changing bands. One beak rests on the occlusal surface while the other engages beneath the band margin. This releases the band with controlled leverage.
Applications: Orthodontics, removal of molar and premolar bands, debonding.
