Bein root elevator Fig. 3C – The Bein elevator is the standard for primary luxation. The straight, slightly hollow-ground blade is inserted into the periodontal ligament space and loosens the tooth from the alveolar socket with a levering and rotating movement before the forceps are applied. This version: curved blade 3 mm – for posterior tooth roots.
