Excavator – The excavator removes softened, carious dentin manually. The spoon-shaped edge, ground all around, works through the infected tissue in a controlled manner without unnecessarily sacrificing healthy tooth structure – gentler than rotary excavation.
- Spoon edge ground all around for controlled excavation
- Spares healthy tooth structure
- Double-ended – two working angles per instrument
- Autoclavable at 134 °C
