The Faure biopsy forceps are used to take small tissue samples for histological examination. The sharp punching jaws cut the tissue out cleanly without crushing the specimen. This preserves the tissue structure for diagnosis.
Applications: Tissue sampling for histology, in particular cervical biopsy in gynaecology and biopsy excisions in surgery.
