The ligature bending pliers are orthodontic pliers for working with wire ligatures. They hold the fine ligature wire securely in order to bend it, twist it and place it on the bracket. This reliably secures the archwire in the bracket slot.
Applications: Orthodontics, placing and twisting wire ligatures on fixed appliances.
